Objective  This training provides an overview for the new security officer of what is expected of a the new employee as an officer and as a professional.

There are certain behaviors, skills and responses that seem to be required by the majority of employers of security personnel. Most employers expect professional conduct, support for company policies and procedures, enforcement of applicable laws and conduct by the officer which reflects positively on the employing organization.

This videotape is an overview of the day-to-day behavior of a security officer.

It stresses      professionalism,

       thinking,

     courtesy

and appropriate use of the officer's authority.

 This is designed to be the  first training  program that a new Security Officer is given  once they have been hired and before they  are out on a post or assignment without  immediate supervision.
