This videotape is targeted as an advanced lesson in report writing. The scope of the tape is defined by four of the most basic content errors found in officer reports. It is recommended that this videotape be shown as part of a second report writing class.

In this program the viewer is presented with definitions, descriptions, examples and analyses of common problems in report writing. These sophisticated terms are explained in simpler language and examples are given.

The officer is shown that while a good report is indeed a written document, a good report can only flow from systematic questioning and objective analysis and accurate reporting of the answers given to the questions asked.
